R D E R 1. Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance
of Witnesses and Production or Documents) Act, 1993 empowers the authorised
Inquiring Authority to summon and enforce the attendance of any witness and
examine on oath. 2. The payment of Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance shall be at the rates
admissible lo the post held by the Government Servant whenever he/she is
summoned as Official Witness. In respect of retired Government Servants, the
rates are as admissible to the post held immediately before their retirement.
