According to rule 8(1) of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1963, the penalties specified in the said rule may be imposed on a member of a service for good and sufficient reason. The above rule also provides that the whole or any part of the pecuniary loss caused to the Government etc., by negligence or breach of orders may be recovered from the pay of the person concerned. 2.
